Borrelho-ferrugíneo (Charadrius modestus), 18–21 cm. Colar peitoral ruivo-acastanhado, partes superiores castanhas, partes inferiores esbranquiçadas. Habita praias e campos abertos no sul da América do Sul, migrando parcialmente para o norte. Alimenta-se de invertebrados no solo e margens de água.
