Andorinhão-de-rabo-espinhoso (Chaetura spinicaudus), 11–12 cm. Distingue-se pelas pontas espinosas das penas da cauda. Plumagem escura acima, partes inferiores acinzentadas, uropígio mais pálido. Habita florestas tropicais e áreas abertas no norte da América do Sul. Captura insetos em voo.
