Beija-flor-de-Mulsant (Chaetocercus mulsant), 6–7 cm. Macho com garganta branca-prateada brilhante com reflexo rosado, partes superiores verdes metálicas. Habita florestas úmidas de montanha nos Andes, do Equador à Bolívia. Alimenta-se de néctar de flores tubulares e pequenos insetos.

Lyre-tailed Hummingbird

A small hummingbird (10-11 cm) endemic to Jamaica. Males have a deeply forked, lyre-shaped tail. Green plumage. Nectarivore of forest and garden flowers. Recently split from Bahama Woodstar. A Jamaican near-endemic.
