Cucal de Toalha (Centropus toulou), 38–42 cm. Plumagem reprodutiva negra com reflexo esverdeado, asas e dorso castanho-rufivos. Fora da estação, apresenta listras. Olhos vermelhos. Endêmico de Madagascar e algumas ilhas vizinhas. Habita florestas, matagais e jardins. Alimenta-se de insetos, lagartos e pequenos animais.
