Cucal das Kai (Centropus spilopterus), 35–40 cm. Dorso e asas castanho-rufivos com estrias escuras, partes inferiores e cabeça negras com reflexo azul-esverdeado. Olhos vermelhos. Endêmico das Ilhas Kai na Indonésia. Habita florestas tropicais. Alimenta-se de insetos e pequenos animais.
