Cucal-do-Senegal (Centropus senegalensis), 32–38 cm. Cabeça e partes inferiores negras com brilho azul-esverdeado, asas e dorso castanho-rufivos. Olhos vermelhos, bico curvado. Amplamente distribuído em matagais, pastagens e bordas de florestas na África subsaariana. Alimenta-se de insetos, pequenos roedores e frutas.
