Cucal de Milo (Centropus milo), 45–55 cm. Grande cucal com plumagem preta com reflexos verde-azulados e asas castanho-avermelhadas. Olhos vermelhos, bico forte e curvado. Endêmico das Ilhas Salomão, onde habita florestas densas. Alimenta-se de insetos, lagartos e pequenos vertebrados.
