Cucal-de-cauda-cobreada (Centropus cupreicaudus), 38–44 cm. Dorso castanho-ruivo, cauda com reflexo cobreado, partes inferiores negras com brilho verde-azulado. Olhos vermelhos. Habita pastagens alagadas e matagais ao longo de rios na África Central e Austral. Alimenta-se de insetos, rãs e pequenos roedores.
