Bar-throated Apalis
The Bar-throated Apalis is a small warbler of the family Cisticolidae widespread in forest edges, scrub, and gardens across much of sub-Saharan Africa. Weighing about 11.5g with a wingspan of 10.2cm, it has a distinctive dark breast-band across its white underparts. It moves actively through foliage in pairs or small groups, gleaning small insects from leaves.
