Anna's Hummingbird

Anna's hummingbird is the most common hummingbird along the Pacific coast and one of only three species resident in the United States year-round. Their body temperature can drop to near ambient at night to conserve energy.

Sombre Hummingbird

A medium-sized hummingbird (11-12 cm) endemic to the Atlantic Forest of southeastern Brazil. Dull olive-green plumage. Nectarivore of forest and forest edges. One of the more plainly colored Brazilian hummingbirds. Often seen in shaded forest undergrowth.
