The Bare-faced Bulbul is a distinctive bulbul of the family Pycnonotidae recently described from limestone karst habitat in Laos. Weighing about 37g with a wingspan of 18cm, it is notable for its bare pinkish facial skin, unique among bulbuls. It inhabits rocky limestone forest where it feeds on fruit and insects.
