Um icterídeo de banhado da família Icteridae, encontrado em áreas úmidas dos Andes e do Cone Sul da América do Sul. O Sargento (Agelasticus thilius) habita banhados, margens de rios e áreas alagadas no Chile, Argentina, Bolívia, Peru e Uruguai. Mede aproximadamente 19-20 cm.
