Um gavião de floresta da família Accipitridae, endêmico das ilhas Sulawesi na Indonésia. O Gavião-de-manto-maculado (Accipiter trinotatus) habita florestas tropicais nas ilhas de Sulawesi. Mede aproximadamente 30-37 cm. Apresenta padrão de plumagem distinto com manchas nas partes superiores. Alimenta-se provavelmente de pequenas aves e lagartos.
