O Gavião-de-Meyer (Accipiter meyerianus) habita florestas tropicais nas Molucas, Papua Nova Guiné e Ilhas Salomão. Mede aproximadamente 38-50 cm. Caracterizado pelas partes inferiores barradas castanho-avermelhadas. Alimenta-se de aves e lagartos. É uma das espécies maiores do gênero Accipiter nesta região. Classificado como Pouco Preocupante pela UICN.
