Um gavião de floresta da família Accipitridae, endêmico das Ilhas Molucas na Indonésia. O Gavião-de-molucas (Accipiter henicogrammus) habita florestas tropicais nas grandes ilhas das Molucas, incluindo Halmahera e Buru. Mede aproximadamente 30-36 cm. É relativamente pouco conhecido e raramente estudado. Alimenta-se provavelmente de pequenas aves e lagartos, como outros gaviões florestais relacionados. Enfrenta pressão da crescente perda de habitat florestal nas Molucas. Classificado como Pouco Preocupante pela UICN.

The Black Baza is a small, striking raptor of South and Southeast Asia with a bold crest, black upperparts, and white underparts barred with chestnut. It inhabits tropical and subtropical forests, including forest edges and secondary growth, from the foothills of the Himalayas through Myanmar, southern China, and the Malay Peninsula. It feeds primarily on large insects, frogs, and lizards, often hunting in small groups.
