Um gavião de floresta da família Accipitridae, encontrado nas ilhas do Pacífico sudoeste. O Gavião-de-Meyer (Accipiter meyerianus) habita florestas tropicais nas Molucas, Papua Nova Guiné e Ilhas Salomão. Mede aproximadamente 38-50 cm.
