O Tordo-de-bico-forte (Acanthiza robustirostris) habita matagais de acácia e mallee áridos nas regiões áridas do interior da Austrália. Mede aproximadamente 10 cm. Possui um bico comparativamente robusto adaptado para extrair insetos de galhos. Alimenta-se principalmente de insetos, forragendo em galhos e folhagem de acácia. Banded Whiteface
The Banded Whiteface is a small, plump bird of the family Acanthizidae found in arid scrubland of central Australia. Weighing about 10.5g with a wingspan of 11.4cm, it has a distinctive black band across the chest contrasting with its white face. It forages on the ground and in low shrubs for seeds and insects.
