Um tordo-da-capoeira vivo e conspícuo da família Acanthizidae, endêmico do sudeste da Austrália. O Tordo-de-sobrancelha (Acanthiza reguloides) habita florestas de eucalipto e matagais no sudeste da Austrália. Mede aproximadamente 10-11 cm. Caracterizado por uma sobrancelha pale proeminente e supercílio distinto. Alimenta-se de insetos e outros pequenos invertebrados, forragendo ativamente em galhos e folhagem. É uma ave vocal com uma variedade de chamadas. Frequentemente observado em pares. Classificado como Pouco Preocupante pela UICN.
Banded Whiteface
The Banded Whiteface is a small, plump bird of the family Acanthizidae found in arid scrubland of central Australia. Weighing about 10.5g with a wingspan of 11.4cm, it has a distinctive black band across the chest contrasting with its white face. It forages on the ground and in low shrubs for seeds and insects.
