Sobre
Egyptian Plover: 19–21 cm, strikingly patterned plover with black, grey, and white plumage and a bold black breast-band. Famous for alleged symbiotic relationship with crocodiles (historically unconfirmed). Resident along large sandy rivers of West and Central Africa. Buries eggs in sand to keep cool. Insectivorous. Sedentary.
