Beija-flor-ciano (Chlorestes cyanus), 8–10 cm. Macho com plumagem verde-esmeralda brilhante, gorget azul-ciano ou violáceo na garganta, cauda escura. Habita florestas úmidas de baixada e bordas de mata no norte da América do Sul. Alimenta-se de néctar de flores e pequenos insetos.
