Gaivina-de-asa-branca (Chlidonias leucopterus), 20–23 cm. No verão, corpo preto com asas brancas e coberteiras pretas, bico vermelho. No inverno, cinzento e branco. Habita pântanos, lagos e rios no interior da Eurasia. Migra para o sul da Ásia e África. Alimenta-se de insetos e pequenos vertebrados aquáticos.
