Pequeno andorinhão com plumagem marrom-enegrecida acima e cinzento-escuro abaixo, garganta e parte superior do peito mais claras, uropígio ligeiramente mais pálido. Habita florestas e áreas abertas tropicais da América do Sul. Captura insetos em voo.
