Whitehead and allies; 3 species endemic to New Zealand—the Whitehead, Yellowhead (mohua), and Pipipi (Brown Creeper). Social birds of native forest. Yellowhead is endangered; threatened by introduced predators. Live in cooperative groups; forage for invertebrates in bark and foliage.
