Dulidae

Palmchat; a monotypic family containing only the Palmchat, endemic to Hispaniola in the Caribbean. The national bird of the Dominican Republic. Colonial nester in large communal stick structures woven into royal palms. Active, noisy, gregarious. Feeds on berries and flowers.
