Dwarf Fruit-dove (Ptilinopus nainus), 13 cm. Smallest fruit-dove; entirely green with a yellow forehead spot. Endemic to lowland forest of New Guinea and the Aru Islands. Frugivore, foraging low in the forest for tiny berries. Least Concern; occurs throughout New Guinea but easily overlooked.

Adamawa Turtle-dove

Medium dove, 27–30 cm, with warm rufous-brown upperparts, a black neck collar, and a deep orange-red breast. Endemic to the highland plateaus and montane grasslands of northern Nigeria and Cameroon. Granivore of grass seeds and cultivated grains. Poorly studied and localised range. Least Concern.
