Salvin's Curassow
Produces a deep, resonant booming call. Calls carry through Colombian and Ecuadorian Amazonian forest; the deep boom is the standard territorial call of the Mitu curassow genus.

Endemic to northeastern Brazil in Alagoas. Extinct in the wild; survives only in captivity. Last wild record was 1980s.

Alagoas Curassow
대형 검은색 큐라소 새로 체장 약 89cm이며, 전신이 광택 있는 검은색이고 보석처럼 붉은 부리와 파란 기저를 갖는다. 야생에서는 멸종한 것으로 추정되며 브라질 북동부 대서양 숲에 서식했다. 과실류와 씨앗을 먹었다. 멸종위기 종이다.

대형 큐라소 새로 체장 약 85cm이며, 검은 윗면에 흰 배, 붉은 부리를 갖는다. 콜롬비아와 페루 아마존 열대 우림에 서식한다. 과실류, 씨앗, 곤충, 소형 무척추동물을 먹는다. 관심 필요 종이다.
