About These Birds
Enggano Cuckoo-Dove
Slender cuckoo-dove, 32–35 cm, uniform warm cinnamon-rufous with minimal barring and a relatively short tail. Restricted to Enggano Island off the southwestern coast of Sumatra. Inhabits dense lowland forest. Frugivore. Vulnerable due to extremely small range and ongoing forest loss on the island.
Bare-faced Ground Dove
소형 비둘기로 체장 약 19cm이며, 옅은 갈색에 눈 주위 오렌지색 피부와 창백한 아랫면을 갖는다. 안데스 산맥 페루, 볼리비아, 칠레의 건조한 고지대에 서식하는 고유종이다. 씨앗을 먹으며 바닥에서 생활한다. 관심 필요 종이다.
