소형 마다가스카르 뜸부기로 체장 약 22cm이며, 갈색 몸통에 줄무늬가 있는 아랫면을 갖는다. 마다가스카르 동부 우림에 서식하는 고유종이다. 밀림 바닥에서 곤충과 소형 무척추동물을 먹는다. 관심 필요 종이다.
