Small, slender cuckoo-dove, 28–32 cm, rufous with a distinctive rusty-red crown, finely barred upperparts, and a long tail. Found in montane and foothill forests from the eastern Himalayas through Indochina, southern China, and into Sumatra, Borneo, and Java. Frugivore of small berries. Least Concern.
