About These Birds
Enggano Cuckoo-Dove
Slender cuckoo-dove, 32–35 cm, uniform warm cinnamon-rufous with minimal barring and a relatively short tail. Restricted to Enggano Island off the southwestern coast of Sumatra. Inhabits dense lowland forest. Frugivore. Vulnerable due to extremely small range and ongoing forest loss on the island.

소형 비둘기로 체장 약 22cm이며, 갈색에 옅은 아랫면과 노란 눈 주위 피부를 갖는다. 아르헨티나 북서부 고지대 건조 지역에 서식하는 고유종이다. 씨앗을 먹으며 바닥에서 생활한다. 관심 필요 종이다.
