Kerguelen Islands Shag
65 cm. Black and white; distinctive warty orange caruncles at bill base. Endemic to Kerguelen Islands, southern Indian Ocean. Feeds on fish in cold Kerguelen Island waters; colonial nester on rocky coastal cliffs. Locally common but restricted range makes it Vulnerable.
Pygmy Cormorant
소형 가마우지로 체장 45–55cm이며, 갈색 몸통에 흰 뺨 반점, 번식기에 볏을 갖는다. 지중해 동부와 서아시아의 내수 습지, 강, 호수에 서식한다. 잠수하여 어류와 수생 무척추동물을 먹는다. 관심 필요 종이다.
