안데스갈매기는 남아메리카 안데스 산맥 고산 호수에 서식하는 갈매기이다. 번식기에는 검은 머리를 가지며 높은 고도의 호수에서 번식하는 특이한 생태를 가진다. 페루, 볼리비아, 칠레, 아르헨티나의 고산 호수에서 발견된다.
Antarctic Tern
Antarctic Tern, 31–38 cm, breeds on sub-Antarctic islands and Antarctic Peninsula, dispersing across the Southern Ocean in austral winter. Grey above, white below, with red bill and feet. Unlike Arctic Tern, does not undertake pole-to-pole migration; remains in high southern latitudes year-round.
