안데스갈매기는 남아메리카 안데스 산맥 고산 호수에 서식하는 갈매기이다. 번식기에는 검은 머리를 가지며 높은 고도의 호수에서 번식하는 특이한 생태를 가진다. 페루, 볼리비아, 칠레, 아르헨티나의 고산 호수에서 발견된다.
