흰눈갈매기는 홍해와 인도양 서부에 서식하는 갈매기이다. 흰 눈 주위의 고리와 갈색 머리가 특징이며 홍해와 인도양 해안에 분포한다. 중동과 동아프리카 해안의 암석 섬에서 번식하며 물고기를 주로 먹는다.
