흐린날개갈매기는 북태평양 알래스카와 알류샨 제도에 서식하는 대형 갈매기이다. 흰 날개 끝에 회색 무늬가 있는 것이 특징이며 다른 갈매기들과 잡종을 이루기도 한다. 해안과 어업 항구에서 다양한 먹이를 먹는다.
