갈라파고스갈매기는 갈라파고스 제도에만 서식하는 희귀한 갈매기이다. 전체적으로 어두운 회색의 깃털을 가지며 갈라파고스 섬의 해안에서만 발견된다. 물고기와 해양 동물을 먹으며 개체수가 적어 보전이 필요한 종이다.
