아르메니아갈매기는 중동과 중앙아시아의 고산 호수에서 번식하는 갈매기이다. 재갈매기와 유사하지만 부리 끝의 붉은 점 위에 검은 반점이 있는 것이 특징이다. 겨울에는 홍해와 인도양 연안으로 이동한다.
