두색광택찌르레기는 사하라 이남 아프리카 동부와 남부에 서식하는 찌르레기이다. 검은색과 흰색의 뚜렷한 대비가 특징이며 건조한 초원과 관목 지역에서 생활한다. 소나 기타 대형 포유류 근처에서 기생충을 먹거나 먹이를 찾는다.

The Bare-eyed Myna is a Near Threatened starling of the family Sturnidae endemic to the Sula Islands of Indonesia. Weighing about 248g with a wingspan of 29cm, it is a large myna with characteristic bare skin around the eyes. It inhabits forest edges and secondary growth where it forages for fruit and insects.
