시자꼬리벌새는 베네수엘라에서만 발견되는 희귀한 벌새 종이다. 수컷은 매우 긴 꼬리 깃털을 가지고 있으며 녹색과 갈색의 깃털 색을 가진다. 산악 지대의 숲에서 서식하며 특정 꽃들의 꿀을 먹고 산다.
