기라쿠쿠(36–42cm)는 남아메리카 동부의 개방 서식지에 분포하는 사회성 강한 뻐꾸기다. 특유의 볏과 주황색 부리를 지니며 4–20마리 무리 생활을 한다. 탁란을 하지 않고 공동 둥지에서 함께 새끼를 기른다.
