Mascarene Coot
Mascarene Coot (Fulica newtonii) is an extinct giant coot formerly inhabiting Mauritius and Réunion in the Indian Ocean. Larger than Eurasian Coot; likely flightless or near-flightless. Extirpated by hunting and introduced predators in the 17th–18th centuries. Known from subfossil remains and written accounts by early European visitors.

파랑얼굴물닭(Gymnocrex rosenbergii)은 술라웨시 고유종인 28–32cm 물닭이다. 갈색 윗면에 회색 아랫면, 맨살 파란 얼굴 피부를 지닌다. 저지대 삼림에 서식하며 잘 알려지지 않았다.
