짖는왕비둘기(Ducula latrans), 44 cm. 개 짖는 소리 같은 깊은 울음소리로 명명. 짙은 금속성 녹색 윗면; 엷은 회갈색 아랫면. 피지 고유종. 해수면에서 1,200m까지 원시·이차림에 서식. 과일식성. 최소 관심; 피지에서 국지적으로 흔하다.
Enggano Cuckoo-Dove
Slender cuckoo-dove, 32–35 cm, uniform warm cinnamon-rufous with minimal barring and a relatively short tail. Restricted to Enggano Island off the southwestern coast of Sumatra. Inhabits dense lowland forest. Frugivore. Vulnerable due to extremely small range and ongoing forest loss on the island.
