빛나는왕비둘기(Ducula chalconota), 38 cm. 대비되는 엷은 회색 머리·아랫면과 함께 풍부하게 무지개빛 청동-녹색 윗면. 700–2,200m의 뉴기니 산지림에 서식. 과일식성. 최소 관심; 구릉·산지림에서 흔하다.
Barusan Cuckoo-Dove
Slender cuckoo-dove, 32–36 cm, rufous-brown with finely barred upperparts and a long, graduated tail. Confined to the Batu Islands (North Pagai, South Pagai, Siberut, and Sipora) off the coast of West Sumatra. Inhabits forest. Frugivore of small fruits. Near Threatened due to forest clearance.
