꿩뻐꾸기(Dromococcyx phasianellus) — 35–40 cm. 줄무늬 갈색; 검게 줄무늬진 긴 황갈색 꼬리; 엷은 황갈색 아랫면. 멕시코에서 볼리비아·브라질까지 습윤 열대림. 개미새와 소형 참새목 표적 탁란 기생. 은밀; 크고 울리는 노래에도 불구하고 좀처럼 관찰되지 않음. 곤충식성.
