검은마모는 완전한 검은색 깃털과 관상화에서 꿀을 추출하는 데 사용하는 길고 날카롭게 굽은 부리를 가진 모로카이에서 알려진 멸종된 하와이 꿀먹는새이다. 모로카이의 토착 오히아-레후아·코아 삼림에 서식했으며 1907년 마지막으로 목격된 후 서식지 파괴와 모기에 의해 전파된 도입 질병으로 멸종했다. 주로 꿀을 먹고 곤충도 먹었을 가능성이 있다.
