Song & Call Comparison
Bartlett's Tinamou
A soft, repeated whistle from Amazonian lowland forest. Less well known than other Crypturellus; its call is a simple 2-note descending whistle given from dense cover.
Little Tinamou
A soft, high-pitched, repeated whistle — higher in pitch than most tinamous due to its small size. Song is 2-3 ascending notes. Gives thin alarm 'seet' when disturbed.
