눈비둘기(Columba leuconota) — 34~38cm. 흰 머리와 목 뒤가 진한 갈색 등과 대비; 흰 허리; 검은 꼬리 끝 띠; 분홍빛 아랫면. 파키스탄부터 중국 남서부까지 해발 2,000~5,500m의 히말라야 계곡과 절벽에 서식. 씨앗을 먹으며 절벽 선반에 둥지를 틀고 겨울에 저지대로 내려옴.
