흰꼬리월계비둘기(Columba junoniae) — 37~40cm. 진한 회색이며 꼬리 끝이 흰색; 목에 무지갯빛 광택. 카나리아제도의 라팔마, 라고메라, 테네리페 월계수림에 고유한 종. 과식성. 취약종; 온전한 월계수림에 강하게 의존. 유럽에서 가장 희귀한 비둘기 중 하나.

The ancestor of the domesticated Barbary Dove (ring-necked dove). Granivore of grass seeds and small grains in dry savanna, farmland, and desert edge. Least Concern.
