안다만 뻐꾸기새(Centropus andamanensis) — 42-47 cm. 밤색 등과 날개, 검은 머리와 아랫면, 긴 단계적 꼬리. 인도 안다만 제도의 삼림과 관목지 고유종이다. 비기생성이다. 잡식성이다. 이전에는 큰 뻐꾸기새의 아종으로 분류되었다.

Banded Ground-cuckoo (Neomorphus radiolosus) — 48–52 cm. Dark brown; broad black breast bands; rufous belly; vivid blue orbital skin. Endemic to wet foothill forest of Colombia and Ecuador. Non-parasitic; follows army ant columns. Insectivore. Endangered due to severe habitat loss in its restricted range.
