Great Skua
아이슬란드, 페로 제도, 스코틀랜드에서 번식하는 북대서양의 강력한 해적 갈매기 50-58 cm, 날개폭 125-140 cm. 어두운 갈색 몸통에 흰 날개 섬광이 있다. 가넷과 키티웨이크를 공격해 물고기를 빼앗기도 하고 다른 바닷새를 직접 죽이기도 한다. 대서양에서 바다 생활을 하며 월동한다.
Long-tailed Jaeger
Long-tailed Jaeger, 48–53 cm body plus up to 25 cm tail streamers, is the most elegant jaeger, breeding on Arctic and sub-Arctic tundra worldwide. Feeds primarily on lemmings on the breeding grounds; transitions to pelagic planktivore and piscivore on the ocean. Migrates to subantarctic waters — one of the longest migrations.
